HOT NEWS

Subject: GEnie File Library
During the final days of the GEnie
online service, Creative Micro Designs
was in charge of maintaining the
Commodore area. Rather than let the
entire file library get blown away in
the dust when GEnie shut down -- like
what happened when QLink went away --
the whole Commodore library was
downloaded and preserved.
The files are available once
again. Feel free to browse the indexes
and look for a file you might need.
You'll find a link to the GEnie
library on the main page at
cmdrkey.com.

Subject: GEnie Library Files and our
new SUPER Mega CD!
G'day Everyone,
As Maurice mentioned, I've created
a CD for the GEnie files and this is
now added to the C= Central Market.
I'm sure the CD would be easier for
those who'd rather spend their online
time doing other things besides
downloading for hours.
Currently we are downloading from
Maurice's computer and it's nearly 80%
complete. Because this is a long
holiday weekend (Monday is also a
public holiday in Australia), we won't
be able to mail out any CDs until
Tuesday. This gives some leeway time
in case there are any files that need
to be added.
When we put out the Compuserve CD
(thanks Snogpitch!) we also came up
with a 'Mega CD' that included all of
our other compilations plus the newly
added Compuserve files. Gee, after
'Mega', where do you go from there
when you've just doubled the megabytes
on the CD? Ahh, SUPER. So it's the
SUPER Mega CD now and has our FTP
Site, the 221B Baker Street BBS files,
the CompuServe Commodore Forums files,
and now the GEnie Library files. What
an amazing collection!
But wait! While I was adding to
the C= Central Market, I had a look at
the prices and decided it was time to
do some Fall cleaning (it's not spring
in Australia). So I've knocked down
the prices of the single compilation
CDs from $15 US to $12 US.
Prices have also been adjusted in
our Australian webstore (for Aussie
Commodore folks). This store is

We cannot accept money orders of
any type, and would prefer credit
cards -- Visa, MasterCard, and
American Express. We need the name on
the card, card number, and expiration
date. We have to automatically convert
these in AU dollars -- but the amount
is shown on the invoice mailed with
the CD.
Enjoy!
